Skinny Article
I was so blown away by the skinny article, it has really motivated me. I started (well at an all time high) of 206, lost 18 pounds (188), bounced around there for a while and started back up again recently, am now at 170. My goal weight is 135. All my highs were: A1C 10.4 now 6.8, goal 6.5, blood pressure 176/120-now, 100/70 (at goal); cholesterol 226, now 128 (at goal). Liver enzymes elevated, not now (at goal). Kidney enzymes elevated, not now (at goal). Gout and arthritis, gout gone (at goal), arthritis improved. If I can get this much relief losing 36 pounds; I feel I could conceivably get off all meds when I hit my goal weight. I am working hardest on my sugars and exercise (which I never do and love sweets) but this article has really motivated me. I can’t wait to get to goal weight and not have to take all these medicines. I hope I can encourage myself and you to do this. My father died at 44 from these diseases and I am 56 with same ones, so your prayers and well wishes would be most appreciated. Thank you and have a great day! Life is too precious to waste on illness you don’t need to have! :) Donna
